WINDOW ROCK, Ariz., – Diné Development Corporation (DDC) is excited to announce the newest member to DDC’s business development team: Chris Castle, as senior director of business development. Chris complements the DDC team with his 23 years of technical knowledge, exceptional entrepreneurial experience and management skill set. Through Chris’ extensive experience in starting and managing companies, he is keen on operating small professional services firms in highly competitive commercial and government markets. Chris is also a seasoned manager of all aspects of business, from hiring, establishing mission critical-focused goals and developing and managing operational budgets to leading cross-functional teams on complex programs and projects.
Austin Tsosie, DDC CEO, said, “Chris has already made a significant contribution to DDC as an independent contractor and we look forward to his inspirational business development leadership and guidance, which will help us continue to make a positive financial impact on the Navajo Nation.” Chris will lead the DDC Business Development Program and other business strategies that promote DDC and subsidiary companies’ professional and technical service offerings.
Diné Development Corporation (DDC) is wholly owned by the Navajo Nation government and was established to facilitate the Nation’s opportunities to conduct business through the creation of subsidiary corporations, joint ventures and partnerships. DDC was formed in 2004 to help create new jobs, revenues and profits primarily through the participation in the U.S. Small Business Administration 8(a) Business Development program. The 8(a) Program was created to help small disadvantaged businesses compete in the American economy and access the federal procurement market.
